Soprano Jacqueline Quirk is making her mark in the realms of operatic performance throughout the World as one of Opera’s International outstanding stars, singing throughout the USA and gracing some of the world’s most prestigious stages. Such as Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center, The Kennedy Center and in Italy throughout Tuscany, Chianti, Bolzano, Milan, Cortona, Venice and Vicenza. Ms. Quirk is recognized as possessing a large captivating Full Lyric Soprano Voice with depth and opulence. Along with having a versatile repertoire in Operetta, American Opera and Mozart heroines. Ms. Quirk is celebrated for the roles of Mimi in La Boheme, Cio-Cio San in Madama Butterfly, Nedda in I Pagliacci and the title role of Suor Angelica in Suor Angelica.

 

Jacqueline has had the privilege of also singing with the following opera companies and symphonies; Hawaii Opera Theater, Washington National Opera, Nickel City Opera, El Paso Opera, Opera Idaho, Ashville Lyric Opera, Annapolis Opera, Vero Beach Opera, Saint Petersburg Opera, FL, Miami Lyric Opera, Bruno Walter Hall, Honolulu Symphony, Tanglewood Festival, Pittsburgh Symphony, Mansfield Symphony, The National Opera Center, NYC, Encore Orchestra of NJ and the Buffalo Philharmonic.  In Italy, she has graced the stages of Teatro Verdi, The Cortona Sacred Music Festival (for three seasons), Bolzano Music Festival, and in Chianti with “Bel Canto Tuscany” and the Cathedral of Milan.

 

This upcoming season includes concertizing in NYC, NJ, and Florida. She will be the Soprano Soloist in a concert tour through the United Kingdom entitled “Prayer for Peace” under the baton of Maestro Jason Tramm. She will also be making her recording debut as the Soprano for the Brahms “Zigeunerliede” as well as making a return to Italy to sing the lead role in Suor Angelica at the

Comunale Teatro in Vicenza. Jacqueline joins “Romanza Music”, a String Quartet, as the Soprano Soloist and will debut with Masterworks Chorale of NJ in the Mozart Requiem.

 

As well as some of the roles mentioned previously, Jacqueline has sung the Following; Micaela (Carmen), Contessa (Le Nozze di Figaro), Marguerite (Faust), The Mother (Amahl and The Night Visitors), The Witch and The Mother (Hansel and Gretel), Mrs. Anderson (A Little Night Music), Nella (Gianni Schicchi), Hanna (The Merry Widow) and Rosalinde (Die Fledermaus). She has also been the Soprano Soloist in; Rossini’s Stabat Mater, Faure Requiem, Mozart Requiem, Verdi Requiem, Brahms Requiem, The Messiah and Beethoven’s 9th.

 

Ms. Quirk also originated the role of Mary Pat Milburn in the American World Premier of “Shot” by Prersis Vehar, on the assassination of President William McKinley, at the Historic Shea’s Theater in Buffalo, NY, produced by Nickel City Opera.

 

When Jacqueline is not busy singing, she has a full stage directing Resume, available on request, and enjoys teaching voice and consulting up and coming singers with her organization “The Performers Forum”.
