La Boheme – St. Petersburg, FL

Jacqueline was a properly ardent Mimi. Quirk had the high notes for spectacular arias like “Mi chiamano Mimi” (They call me Mimi), and was at her expressive best in the Act 3 scene “Donde Lieta”, in which the consumptive heroine tells Rodolfo he can keep a pink bonnet in memory of her.

Madame Butterfly – Mansfield Symphony Orchestra

Soprano Jacqueline Quirk (Madame Butterfly) deftly negotiated the soaring romantic melodies her character necessitated. She melted the audience’s hearts in Act 2 with the signature aria, “Un bel di” (one fine day). The voices of the two characters balanced well in the celebrated love duet which concludes Act 1 of the opera, “Viene la sera.”  Overall, it was a superb evening of music making.
The audience gave the performers a well-deserved standing ovation during the curtain call.
Bravo, Maesto Franz and Company!

Madama Butterfly – Asheville Lyric Opera

Building on the resounding voice of its principal lead, Asheville Lyric Opera delivered a stellar performance of “Madame Butterfly” March 31 before a Craven County audience.
As expected, soprano Jacqueline Quirk as Cio-Cio San was the Jewel in the troupe’s operatic crown during a single public performance at the Grover C. Fields Performing Arts Center in New Bern. Adequate to the role, Quirk provided strong voice co-mingled with tacit emotion expressed in both song and acting. Quirk brought experience to the stage and provided a positive operatic experience.

Il Trittico – Hawaii Opera Theatre

A Triple treat from Puccini and HOT

The Secondary Leads rounded out a strong cast: Katherine Ciesinski sang a thoroughly despicable Princess(brava!) and Sondra Kelly created a great bag lady (Frugola). Notable up-and-coming young Operatic voices included Jeremy Blossey,Jacqueline Quirk, Rosanna Perch, Amy Healey and James Price.

Il Trittico – Hawaii Opera Theatre

(Role: Nella)
Puccini threesome delights… [in Gianni Schicchi] Gardner and the whole cast were brilliant, the choreography perfect and the acting really funny.

Great American Voices – Hawaii Opera Theatre

Great American Voices sing out for Navy Audience
Tenor Justin Carrell and soprano Jacqueline Quirk, performers with the Hawaii Opera Theatre, charm the audience with a Broadway tune at the Great American Voices concert presented at the Navy Lodge on Ford Island.
The Performance was extremely impressive – from stirring emotions of opera fans to sparking new enthusiam in people of all ages…even families with little children stayed to the very end.

The Three Sopranos

Soprano Jacqueline Quirk possesses a beautiful, full lyric voice, as well as being an excellent performer.
–Cathedral Choral Society (October, 2004)

Don Giovanni

Jacquline Quirk gave a brilliant performance vocally, was superb in her acting and portrayed the role of Donna Anna to its absolute Mozart-intended perfection. I was particularly impressed with the beautiful lyricism of her vocal line, her warm honey tones, and soaring ringing top that reminded me of a young Tebaldi.

The Messiah

She has the flexibility, the vocal color, and handles the embellishments with great ease and style. Nevertheless, her lyric abilities are undiminished, so that she is as comfortable with the legato as with the fioratura. Ms. Quirk’s middle voice is solid and rich and her lower range is equally as beautiful. In short the voice is radiant throughout its compass.
